Welcome to Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry at Hoffmantown desires to see God equip men to walk surrendered within the home, workplace and church.
Brothers, I greet you in name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The following weekly Discipleship Groups (Sept 2nd to December 9th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm) are tailored for Men coming alongside Men. Proverbs 27:17. As Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. I encourage you to attend and be discipled.
1. Equipping Men to be Men – This class is for men only. Men this class based on 1 Corinthians 16:13 (NIV) v13 “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.” Men, let’s explore together in God’s word, what it means to “be on guard”, to “stand firm in the faith”, to “be men of courage” and to “be strong”, first in our relationship with the Father, through His Son; then with our families, the church body and our communities. Materials: Available in the LRC
2. Measure of a Man – This class is for men only. The Measure of a Man, Gene Getz delivers the message of what it takes to be a man of God. Men will gain encouragement for what they can be in Christ – as fathers, sons, husbands, and mentors to other men. The Measure of a Man has taught hundreds of thousands of men around the world how to live faithfully, lovingly and spiritually according to God’s direction. Drawn from Paul’s letters to Timothy and Titus, true masculinity isn’t measured by a man’s strength but by these 20 biblical guidelines. With life applications and words of inspiration, this class will speak in practical terms to men from every generation. Materials: Available in the LRC
3. Ephesians – This class is for men only. This verse-by-verse study of Ephesians looks at a fuller need for Christ. It examines the truths about a believer’s new identity of Christ. Also focusing on unity holiness, submission, and steadfastness. In this Bible study participants will be encouraged to apply God’s Word to your life. It includes historical insights, word definitions, discussion questions, assignments, and leader’s guide. Materials: Available in the LRC
4. Freedom From Addiction – This class is for men only. It takes courage to face an addiction. However, no matter how bad things have become, God offers a way out. Freedom from Addiction is a biblical approach to discovering a whole new life – a life of joy, peace, of wholeness, of sobriety, of self-control, of FREEDOM! It is not self-help or a habilitation program, but it is a paradigm shift. It shifts the focus from oneself to God. Materials: Available in the LRC
