Do you sense God asking you to be more invested and intentional in the study of His Word? Check out all the various studies offered for women this winter to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Do you sense God leading you to invest more intentionally into your marriage? Learning how to solve conflicts biblically is a great place to start. Plan to attend the Fighting FairMarriage Conference. With humor and practical applicable teaching, you will gain new insights and experience a new level of communication and problem solving in your most crucial life relationship.
Investment into people and building spiritual relationships is a tremendous gift from God to His Body. Having trouble getting connected? JOY! is a ministry venue designed for women to be encouraged spiritually and to develop relationships. Connect 4 is another great path to walking intentionally with another woman in building relationship with one another. Single? Friends Unlimited meets monthly. Widowed? Join other sisters in our Widow to Widow ministry.
Investing in women globally in another great joy! Having personally visited the young women in the Ugandan Dorcas Ministry this past spring, I was humbled and touched at how God has used the women of Hoffmantown to impact their lives and futures. While continuing to support their personal hygiene needs, we sense a greater leading to assist with their college educational needs in the year ahead as well. It takes just five women contributing $100.00/year to send a girl to a post-secondary school.
Connecting generations of women is a delight! Join us as little women and the more mature share a tea party on Saturday, March 21 as we Step Into Spring together! Be sure to invite your girlfriends and family.
Is God challenging you to invest in developing your leadership skills? The YOU Lead leadership pre-conference for Beth Moore’s Living Proof Live a strong national leadership training opportunity designed with you in mind here at Hoffmantown on April 16-17. Register now on-line at www.lifeway.com for both the leadership training and the Living Proof Live conference coming to Albuquerque, April 17-18, 2015.

Please feel free to connect with us at any time and way that is convenient for you; a visit to our ministry center for a cup of tea and personal conversation, stopping by our kiosk in the Fellowship Mall on Sundays, a phone call or an email.

Connect in Relationships
BLOOM: Nourish to Flourish
One to One Encouragement Ministries to Women
As women, God made us relational. He designed us to be nurturers, caregivers and shepherds. Life brings many different seasons and challenges and God desires that we walk with one another as members of His Body. He desires to nourish us through His Word, His Spirit and those He places in our lives so that we can flourish in Him! Women’s Ministry is pleased to offer the following Encouragement Ministries to women. For more information or to RSVP for the events, stop by the Women’s Ministry kiosk on Sundays, call 858-8633 or email email@example.com..
With the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it is easy to become isolated from other believers. Connect 4 pairs two women in a spiritual friendship. It requires no special talents beyond a teachable surrendered heart to God and a desire to live, love and encourage in honest community. It is an opportunity to focus, from a biblical standpoint, on issues you may be facing as a wife, mother, single woman, and all the various other roles we play in life as women. Connect 4 provides an opportunity to learn how to live victoriously in Christ. Plan to attend monthly salad potlucks on Sundays from 12:30 to 2:00pm for fellowship, a devotional and time to spend with your Connect 4 partner. Between times, meet each other for coffee or lunch! Childcare is available by pre-registration.

Connect in Serving Others
Meals for the Moment
This strategic ministry has served so many of our families in a time of need! We all have experienced moments when a helping hand with food preparation would have been appreciated. Often when we see a need, our schedule does not allow us to step in to help. Meals for the Moment is a ministry of the women of Hoffmantown designed to serve the Body in a way that fits every schedule! Watch the Compass Plus for announcements then simply check out a pan and recipe from the Women’s Ministry kiosk. As you have time, prepare the recipe and return it to church frozen. As needs arise, we have meals ready to deliver! For more information, contact Tara Dearholt at 823-6733.
The Care Net Pregnancy Center of Albuquerque provides a safe place for women and their families to explore their options related to pregnancy and their future. They fulfill this mission by being a trusted faith-based provider of confidential, loving support and free services, including limited medical care. In addition to church financial support, the women of Hoffmantown also serve once a year (with their D-Groups) in the Baby Shower in a Bag ministry as well as other opportunities that arise. If you would like more information about serving Care Net, stop by the Women’s Ministry kiosk on Sundays, call 858-8633 or email email@example.com. For more information about Care Net, please call 880-0882.
Project Hannah is a ministry of prayer! Project Hannah’s purpose is to raise awareness and empathy for the plight of women worldwide and to bring biblical broadcasts to women globally so they can experience God’s love and forgiveness despite the variety of cultural, social and economic challenges they face daily. Pick up a monthly prayer calendar available at the Women’s Ministry kiosk in the Fellowship Mall and pray each day for women around the world as they do the same for you!
Operation Dorcas: Uganda
As women, we have much in common. In Luke 8:43-48, we see where Jesus tenderly engaged the woman with the issue of blood, reflecting He understands our needs as women. The #1 need cited by young Ugandan girls is feminine hygiene products. Without them, they cannot attend school and are subject to increased health issues. They simply cannot afford the $1/month cost of these products.
If you would like to become involved in this ministry, you can:
• Contribute one time, or a few dollars each month, in the designated box outside the Women’s Ministry Center in B200 or through your offering (see below).
• Become a yearly Operation Dorcas Partner and support 5 girls by contributing $5/month or $60/year.
Operation Dorcas Education: Uganda
In addition to providing for Ugandan girls monthly personal hygiene needs, God has led us to expand this ministry by funding college scholarships. The women of Hoffmantown have sent six girls to college with 18 now attending post secondary schools! It simply takes five women giving $100.00/year to send the girl to college!
Please specify “Special Missions: Dorcas” or “Special Missions: Dorcas Education” via check to Hoffmantown Church or choose Dorcas Ministry through e-giving online at www.hoffmantownchurch.org.
