Girls’ Ministry
Today’s teenage and college age girls face complex and pressing issues to perform, achieve, pursue beauty at any cost, deal with sexual temptations and abuse to name a few. Girls have more rights, freedoms and opportunities than ever before but with these things they face a growing number of problems deeply rooted in being female in today’s society. Titus 2 is very clear in its mandate that older women teach, nurture and encourage younger women. The church is strategically positioned to effectively minister in the lives of girls in this generation. Connect the Dots Prayer Ministry (Middle/High School through college age)
Life gets crazy and is hard! Would you love an older woman to pray for your needs and requests on a regular basis? It’s easy! Just contact Rachel, Girls’ Ministry Intern and she will match you with a prayer partner to pray for and encourage you.
H2H Mentoring (High school and college age women)
Your high school and college age years are perhaps the most formative and life changing in your life as a woman. You are making major life decisions in regard to the way you live life, your education, career and who you may marry…just to name a few! Ever feel like you could use a little guidance and wisdom? Titus 2 commands older women to invest themselves in young women to love, nurture and guide them. If you would like to walk with a woman a few steps ahead of you in life, call and the Women’s Ministry staff will match you with a mentor.
Operation Dorcas: Serving sisters in Uganda (for ages 12-92!)
As girls, we share a lot in common. The #1 need cited by young Ugandan girls is feminine hygiene products. Without them, they cannot attend school and are subject to increased health issues. They simply cannot afford the $1.00/month cost of these products. In Luke 8:43-48 we see where Jesus tenderly engaged with the woman with the issue of blood, reflecting He understands our needs as women.
The Women’s and Girls’ Ministries are trusting God to provide for 500 Ugandan girls every month in the year ahead. You can assist actively and easily with the ministry!

Take an OPERATION DORCAS envelope home and contribute a few dollars each month.

Contribute periodically to Special Missions via a check to Hoffmantown Church.

Drop your gift off in the Operation Dorcas box outside B200 or in the church offering boxes in the Worship Center.
