I Corinthians 13:11: “When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child, when I became a man, I did away with childish things.”

I Corinthians 13:11 tells us that adults and children speak differently, think differently, and reason differently. If an adult is to be effective at ministering to a child the adult must enter the child’s world and relate Biblical truth on his level.

Therefore, we offer Kidz Church because we believe that children can learn so much more than most adults can imagine! We believe children are the church of TODAY, not tomorrow.

Things to make note of:

Pick-up - Security requires that parents enter through the double doors in the first hallway and proceed in a straight line exiting through the back right door.

Tickets

Your child will receive a “movie ticket” for attending Sunday School. We draw one winning ticket each week. The winning ticket receives a sizeable box of candy. (sometimes we give an extra ticket for bringing your Bible)

Star of the Week

A pre-selected chair is chosen to be watched each week. IF that child pays attention and is “good” then he/she will be able to sit at the front and he will be given his/her own script for the morning.

Make A Scene

Each week we “produce” a movie scene that allows kids to see, say, and DO the Bible story by acting it out.

Shout it Out / Z Street Live

This is a word game that runs throughout the entire morning. It is much like Wheel-of-Fortune with Hannah Bright.

Knot of the Week

A phrase using the word “NOT”. It helps kids remember an important facet of the lesson.

Impact Skit

Haywood, Joe Nitro, & Bridgette illustrate how to apply today’s lesson.

Reel Time

A phrase using the word “REAL”. (like the Knot of the week)

Techno Playback Game

A review game to help kids recall every aspect of the lesson and have fun doing it (plus get some candy).

As the Children’s Pastor, my objective every week is to send the kids home talking about what they learned in kidz church to the extent that every parent is saying to themselves, "I wish I was in kidz church.”

As Kids

This team believes that children can learn to live holy lives and make an impact on those around them and around the world.
