King's Table -- Special Needs Ministry

Do you or someone that you know have a child with a disability or medical condition that limits them at church? Do you know any families who are unable to attend church due to having a child with a disability? Hoffmantown Church’s special needs ministry is up and running.

The name “King’s Table” was taken out of II Samuel 9. King David searched out any of the remaining relatives of Saul so that he might show the kindness of God. He found Mephibosheth, the crippled son of David. He could have turned his back because of his disability but he didn’t. Not only did he meet his emotional and physical needs, King David gave Mephibosheth an honored place at “the King’s Table!”  I believe this is a beautiful illustration of how God looks at all of us. God does not make mistakes and I believe that He has a special purpose for those who have disabilities. Part of that purpose is to change us - not for us to try to change them to fit in. Many times they are just trying to survive in their environment. God wants us to learn His unconditional love and acceptance!

We currently provide care on Sunday mornings at both the 9:30am and 11:00am services.

If you would like to bring your child to the King’s Table classroom, please contact Pastor Patrick Newbill .
