Experiencing authentic and deep connections with others and God…connecting…are often relationships we desire but do not experience in our daily lives. In the culture we live, we are more connected than ever with cell phones, texting, twittering, email and instant messaging. However, the depth of these connections is often only surface and we find ourselves longing for something more. I love that our Creator made us to desire relationship, both with Him and with others. In this society, we must make intentional choices to connect - to relate with God and those around us. We must choose to go deep; to be authentic, to “do life” and to “do the Word” with those in our midst in a meaningful and transformational way. Women’s Ministry at Hoffmantown is crafted to allow you to make these important and strategic life connections - regardless of your age, schedule or season of life.
We are very excited to welcome Rebecca St. James and Evie Tornquist on Friday evening, September 23 for the SHE Event. We met and thoroughly enjoyed this great mentoring team for the first time in 2006 and it is a delight to have them return. Rebecca and Evie share their wisdom on living a pure life in an impure culture, the joys of mentoring and now a new bride, Rebecca will have new insights to share! This is truly a multigenerational event for tweens, teens, moms, aunts, grandmas and friends of all ages and stages. Please plan to attend!
We love and serve a God who knows and cares about us as individuals. That’s what we desire to model in Women’s Ministry as well. Please feel free to connect with us at any time and in the way that is most convenient for you: a visit to our ministry center for a cup of coffee and personal conversation, stopping by our kiosk in the Fellowship Mall on the weekends, a phone call or an email. Our desire is to be a bridge of connection for you!
In His love, grace and authenticity,
Dianne Christensen
Women’s Ministry Director
