Guests from countries we can’t pronounce, speakers, music, movies, kids, youth, adults, funny food, worship, praise, eye opening experiences…all to bring everyone closer to an understanding of God’s heart for Missions.

The underlying theme of any missions conference at Hoffmantown Church is: “ don’t just tell others what a good job they are doing in the mission field…get off the couch, grab your family, get in the boat and come fishing with us! “Together, let’s put out into deep water and lower our nets for the catch”.

The Speakers’ Biographies:

Tom Elliff
After pastoring for forty-two years, Tom Elliff served the International Mission Board, first as Senior Vice President for Spiritual Nurture and Church Relations from 2005-2009, then as President from 2011-2014. Tom served pastorates in Arkansas, Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma, and as an IMB missionary in Zimbabwe. Tom also served as president of the SBC Pastors Conference and two terms as president of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Pat Ragan
Pat has served with AMG International in various roles since 2000. Pat and his wife, Traci, have equipped and led numerous short-term teams in support of AMG ministries worldwide, served for a season in Guatemala, and developed a structure for longer-term missionary candidates. Pat leads our mobilization efforts, engaging individuals, teams, churches and organizations in strategic ministry relationships worldwide. Pat holds a B.A. in Bible from Bryan College. He and Traci have three adult daughters, Lara, Jessica and Hannah.

Recording Artist Steve Green
The son of missionary parents, Steve was raised in South America. “My initial recognition of need for Christ was at age 8 while attending a boarding school in Argentina. On a Sunday afternoon, I knelt by my bed and prayed, trusting Jesus as my Savior. However, that was just the beginning of a grace-filled journey. Today the gospel is more precious to me than ever. I realize that God’s grip on me far surpasses my ability to hold on to Him.”  As Steve celebrates 32 years in the Christian music industry, he fondly remembers his fledgling beginning in 1984 when Steve Green Ministries was established.
