Ben Wyne has been nominated to serve as an Elder. He is now in a 30-day congregational review period which will end on February 4. Ben meets all the qualifications required in our bylaws Section 3.2. Anyone who has a Biblical objection to Ben serving as an Elder must submit that objection in writing to the Elder Council for consideration and response during this 30-day period.
Plan to attend the Congregation Meeting, Sunday, January 27 at 3pm. There will be updates from the Elders, the Ministerial, Communications and Purpose/Mission/Vision Committees, as well as from Governance. We welcome and encourage not only your attendance but your written questions in advance of the meeting.

Hoffmantown Congregational Meeting January 27

Chris Branan to Retire
In December, Pastor Chris Branan announced his retirement effective March 31. Please take the opportunity to show your appreciation to Chris and Lois for their years of service at Hoffmantown Church. A reception will be held in March.

We all need a place to come fellowship and grow in Christ together. Hoffmantown’s K-Groups, Life Groups and Adult Family Ministries are a great place for us to spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Come out to the Fellowship Mall TODAY to check out these different ministries and see how you can get involved.

City-Wide Talent Show for Mid & High School Students
The Albuquerque God’s Talent Auditions, presented by the Janow Music Academy, will take place at Hope Christian School, 8005 Louisiana Blvd NE, ABQ NM 87109, on Friday, March 1, at 6:30pm. Deadline to submit audition applications is Thursday, February 28. The entry fee is $20 per act ($300 cash prize to winner of AGT Live March 8). Last week we received $31,678 toward the chiller replacement. We are now at 53.76% of our 300K goal, leaving $138,706 to go. Thank you for your support of this much needed project.
