December Month-End Update from the Finance Council
(Our fiscal year starts in July)
December Actuals YTD Actuals
Receipts / Income $359,353 $1,503,326
Expenses $232,484 $1,405,643
Difference $126,869 $ 97,683
December receipts (contributions and income) exceeded our expenses by $126.8K for the month. Praise the Lord! At the same time, our YTD actual receipts, when compared to our actual expenses, exceeded our expenses by 97.6K. Another “praise the Lord!” While we are working diligently to keep our expenses within the incoming contributions, through December, our actual unrestricted contributions were 269K less than the same period last year. At the same time, you gave 35K through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, to support our 3667 Southern Baptist international missionaries in the field, and almost 109K to the Property Improvement fund (almost 36% of our goal) to replace the existing chiller that cools our building in the summer. Please ask the Lord what additional part you can play to help us recover our short-fall in budget giving. These are the dollars that pay our bills—Christmas outreach ministries, lighting, heating, literature / other resources, building maintenance, salaries, etc. Also, continue to thank the Lord for blessing us so much in our budget giving last year. Thank you for your on-going, faithful giving to the Lord through Hoffmantown Church. Any time you have questions, please feel free to contact the church at 828-2600 to have one of the Finance Council members (Debra Atencio, Kathy Dodson, Robert Ewing, Chris Messina, Bill Talbott or Laurie Wallis) or Chris Branan contact you.
