CHURCH-WIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS

Transition Team Update

HAPPY NEW YEAR. The Transition team looks forward to seeing where God leads us here at Hoffmantown in the next year.

This Sunday, Nate Herbst will be sharing more about the Purpose, Vision, Mission statements we believe the Lord led us to as a church body – Romans 12:9-11.

The Transition Team and Elders would like to thank everyone who has generously pledged contributions for the new chiller. Your generosity will help keep our church comfortable for many summer activities and ministries for years to come. Pledge ornaments will be available through the end of January.

Ben Wyne has been nominated and it has been affirmed that he is being called by God to serve as an Elder for Hoffmantown Church. Ben has been reviewed by the Elders and meets the qualifications required in our Bylaws Section 3.2. He has been endorsed by the Elders and, in accordance with Bylaws Article 3.4, the 30-day congregational review period starts effective Sunday, January 6. Anyone who has a Biblical objection to Ben serving as an Elder must submit that objection in writing to the Elder Council for consideration and response during this 30-day review.
