This Week’s Worship Service

Pastoral Search Team Update

As the PST begins to narrow the field of candidates, we are going through different stages as we seek to discern God’s will. Every step requires new and different priorities, so the need for your prayers is even greater as the weeks go by. One of our members shared a devotional reminding us of the many ways God reveals Himself in nature. She brought some geodes, and compared the drab, unattractive outside to the beauty that is revealed when it is cut open.

It was a good reminder that “man may look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Sam.16:7) Only God knows the hearts of our candidates, so our prayer is that He reveal the hidden treasure of their hearts as we dig deeper.
