STUDENT & FAMILY MINISTRIES

Family Dedication Sunday, December 13th

We will be performing a Family Dedication on Sunday, December 13th during the Worship Service. During these special services, Hoffmantown Church provides a special Parent-Child Commitment Service, where families have the opportunity to commit themselves to bringing up their child(ren) in the discipline and instruction of our Lord. As a church family, we commit ourselves to share the responsibility of providing Christian nurturing to you and your children.
“…and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” –11 Timothy 3:15

MISSION

Mission Prayer Moment – Janow Academy of Music

God has given our church many talented musicians. Terry and Maria Janow operate the Janow Academy of Music (JAM) to train young musicians to glorify the Lord with their gifts. They teach a wide range of instruments, both virtually and in person, spreading the love and joy of music. To find out more about JAM, visit janow4music.com.

Mission Prayer Moment – The Rock at Noonday

Albuquerque’s homeless need our help. That’s why Hoffmantown Church financially supports The Rock at Noonday. The Rock offers the Bread of Life by presenting the gospel while serving over 370 lunchtime meals per day. The Rock also helps supply simple needs and works toward the goal of getting the homeless back on their feet again. You can find out volunteer and donation information at www.therockabq.com. They rock!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse that shares God’s love to children in need in a tangible way with their Christmas shoeboxes. These boxes are filled with goodies geared toward sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with children all around the world. If you are interested in sending a box, an OCC table will be in the Fellowship Mall. There you will be able to get more information and instructions on the ministry! The deadline to purchase and drop off boxes is Sunday, November 15.

Angel Tree

Angel Tree is a ministry of Prison Fellowship that strives to provide children with a parent(s) in prison with a special Christmas gift. In addition to a gift, they also provide tools for the child to learn about Jesus and the Gospel. This year, the event will be through online donations only. To keep both you and the kids safe this season, Angel Tree staff will take care of all gift purchasing and delivering through your online giving. While this looks different than years past, the need for the kids is higher than ever before! Please help us in providing our New Mexico children with a gift this Christmas!
