Transition Team Update (December 7, 2018)

This Sunday, Pastor Joe Long’s message will be on “The Problem of Loneliness” –Matthew 27:46.

Stacie Macdonald was asked, and after prayerful consideration, has joined the Ministerial Sub Team. Mitchell Jackson was also asked and has joined the Governance Sub Team. Both church members will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their group.

The Transition Team and Elders would like to thank everyone who attended the Congregational Meeting this past Sunday. We were encouraged by the turn-out and church body support. The Purpose, Vision, Mission Sub Team presented the statements we believe the Lord led us to as a church body. These were affirmed by those at the congregational meeting:

• Purpose:            To know, love and proclaim Him

• Vision:                Aligned with Jesus, defined by His love and united in His work

• Mission:             Loving Him, loving others and fulfilling His Great Commission

Save The Date

The next Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 3pm in the Worship Center. Childcare will be available for this meeting for Birth–4th grade. For more information, contact Susan Franse at or 858-8654.
