Kids’ Camp: Young Lives Ablaze camp is an incredible week of fun for kids 2nd-6th grade. The goal for camp, on June 8-12, is to grow closer to God through this mountain top experience. The cost for camp is $200, and early registration is available by contacting Sarah Goodrich in Kids Ministry, sarahg@hoffmantown.org.

Life Resource Center: Come Let Us Adore Him by Paul David Tripp. Who doesn’t struggle a bit with our culture’s emphasis on all the wrong things during the Christmas season? We are so bombarded with the commercial aspect of Christmas that it’s easy to forget the reason we’re rejoicing. Paul David Tripp has written a new devotional to help us focus our attention on what it’s really all about, the Lord Jesus Christ. Tripp reminds us that Jesus offers us the only solution to our biggest problem. We are separated from God. We exist in the brokenness of sin. We must understand the seriousness of the problem to appreciate the glorious nature of the solution, our Savior. We need to be captured once again by the amazing truth that God has not left us in our tragic state. Christmas is a celebration of God’s abundant mercy, grace and love; and that’s where our focus should be this Christmas season. Visit the bookstore today to check out many additional gift options.

The Life Resource Center will be closed Dec. 24-26, and Dec. 3-Jan. 2 for the Christmas and New Year holiday.

MISSION

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is a yearly church offering dedicated to the missionaries associated with International Mission Board. IMB supports missionaries all around the globe who are dedicated to spreading the Gospel, including a family from Hoffmantown itself! Your generous gift will go toward helping these missionaries fulfill the Great Commission. Donation envelopes can be found at any of the offering boxes.

Christmas Prayer for Hoffmantown Missionaries

As we near a time to come together as a church family to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, please remember to keep our supported missionaries in your prayers. Some of them are unable to celebrate His birth as we do for it is too dangerous. Pray that God would keep them all, both local and abroad, to be safe during this holiday season.
