Pastoral Search Team

The PST have enjoyed sharing Thanksgiving with family and friends, and did not meet this week. We want to express again our heartfelt gratitude for your continued patience and support as we wait on God for His leading in our search. Please remain steadfast in prayer that the Lord would make it very clear as to His choice for our Body. (Romans 15:5,6)

Elder Affirmations

Jim Dearholt and Mike Paquette have been nominated and affirmed as being called by God to serve as Elders. They have each been reviewed and endorsed by the Elders and meet the qualifications required in our Bylaws (Article V, Section 1). Jim’s 30-day congregational review period started Sunday, November 10, and Mike’s on Sunday, November 17. Anyone who has a Biblical objection for either Jim or Mike serving as Elders must submit it in writing to the Elder Council for consideration and response during this 30-day review. Pray for Jim and his wife Tara, and Mike and his wife Amy, as they begin this journey.
