NEW SERMON SERIES

Next Sunday, February 21st, Pastor Lamar is wrapping up his series on Galatians. Then the following Sunday, February 28th, we’ll be kicking off a brand new series titled, Generosity: God’s Plan For Biblical Stewardship. Join us at 9:30am either onsite or online at www.hoffmantown.online at 9:30am.

 

Hoffmantown Church Congregational Meeting

The Mid-Year Congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, March 7, at 3pm in the Worship Center. Childcare will be available for this meeting for Birth-4th grade. For more information, contact Susan Franse at susanf@hoffmantown.org or 858-8654.

 

Kids Ministry Lead Position Available

Please be in prayer as we are seeking a full-time Kids Ministry Lead. This ministry position will directly report to Pastor Lamar and be responsible for developing a comprehensive program of evangelism and discipleship for our preschoolers, children, and their families and leading our current team. Experience and education in this area of ministry is required. Current areas of supervision will include Sunday School, AWANA, Kids Express (licensed weekday preschool), and more. Administrative Assistant Position Available

Hoffmantown’s Adult Family Ministry is seeking a part-time administrative assistant. Legacy, Men’s, and Women’s Ministries are included in AFM. Applicants should be active members of Hoffmantown Church, sense a calling to Christian service, able to work in various contexts, and proficient in software applications. Applications are available at the Receptionist Desk Monday through Friday. Please return completed applications to the receptionist. Finance

The CPA firm, Carr Riggs and Ingram, recently reported on their financial review of Hoffmantown Church for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2020. They provided a positive written report indicating that our financial statements are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. In the brief, the church was commended for reducing costs, taking advantage of the PPP and preserving cash. They reported that the church is financially healthy despite issues related to COVID-19. Please contact any member of the Finance Committee if you have questions.

STUDENT & FAMILY MINISTRIES

Kite Day

On Sunday, March 21st, Kids Ministry will be having a Kite Day. After church, 12:30pm, we will proceed outside to the Mission Field to fly kites and enjoy some fellowship. Volunteers Needed Saturday, April 3rd for Risen! A Family Easter Journey
At Risen! Families will discover who our Savior is and where He is found. Risen! Is for families with kids 2 years through 6th grade. Families will embark on a 45 minute journey through several stations to discover why Jesus came for us, where He is now, and how we can join Him there. We need adults to serve in a variety of roles over the course of several 2 hour shifts. More information and volunteer registration is available at hoffmantownchurch.org/kids/risen-volunteer. Young Lives Ablaze

Young Lives Ablaze (Kids Evangelism Conference) is happening at Hoffmantown on Saturday, March 27th 9am-2:00pm for current 1st through 6th graders. This is an awesome time for your kids to get to know Christ and hang out with their friends. We will have fun lesson, engaging small group times, exciting recreation, and a tasty lunch. We will finish up our day with some awesome science experiments to help us learn more about our Savior and His awesome creation. This is a great event to invite unchurched kids to join in. ABQ God’s Talent

Hoffmantown Church is hosting Janow Academy of Music’s third annual “Albuquerque God’s Talent Show” for middle and high school musicians in the greater Albuquerque area March 19th, 2021, at 7pm. They oversee the Next Steps Class where those interested can learn the history, doctrine, ordinances, philosophy of ministry, and membership process of Hoffmantown. And who doesn’t like a free lunch?
