Hoffmantown Church Congregational Meeting

The Mid-Year Congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, March 7, at 3pm in the Worship Center and online at www.hoffmantown.onlinePlease submit any online questions by March 3, by going to www.hoffmantownchurch.org/events/congregational-meeting/.

Easter Service is April 4th

Celebrate the Risen Savior with us on Easter Sunday, April 4, at 9:30am. We’ll feature Biblical teaching from the word of God, music from our choir and orchestra, and special music from our Kids Choir. Easter is a family-friendly service; childcare will be available from birth-4 years. Sunday School classes will also be in session.

Thank you for your faithful and generous giving to the Lord through Hoffmantown Church! Our receipts and income are about $232,000 below budget for the year to date. Expenses are being managed to compensate for this shortfall in receipts. If you have questions you can contact the Finance Committee (Ken Abbott, Doug Lawson, Fran Stribling, Bill Talbott, Regan Stinnett, JoAnn Polk and Laurie Wallis) at finance@hoffmantown.org. The Finance Committee will report to the Church at the Mid-Year Congregation Meeting on March 7th.

 

Kids Ministry Lead Position Available

Please be in prayer as we are seeking a full-time Kids Ministry Lead. This ministry position will directly report to Pastor Lamar and be responsible for developing a comprehensive program of evangelism and discipleship for our preschoolers, children, and their families and leading our current team. Experience and education in this area of ministry is required. Current areas of supervision will include Sunday School, AWANA, Kids Express (licensed weekday preschool), and more. Janitorial Position Available

Hoffmantown’s Operations Resource Ministry is seeking a part-time janitor (approx. 16 hours/week). Applicants should be active members of Hoffmantown Church, sense a calling to Christian service, able to work in various contexts of janitorial and maintenance. Applications are available at the Receptionist Desk Monday through Friday. Please return completed applications to the receptionist.

 

ADULT FAMILY MINISTRIES

Women’s Life Group | Starting March 3rd at 6:30pm | Take Courage: A Study of Haggai 

In this 7-session study on the book of Haggai, learn to walk confidently in your calling, stay motivated despite opposition, and courageously invest your life in God’s purposes, trust in Him for results you may never see in this lifetime. Men’s Discipleship Breakfast

Men of Hoffmantown, you are invited to attend our Men’s Discipleship Breakfast Saturday, March 20th, from 7:30-9:30am in room B208/210. The breakfast will be a great time of fellowship and the teaching of the Word of God. The cost is $5. Registration will be available this week. STUDENT & FAMILY MINISTRIES

Volunteers Needed/Registration Now Open

At Risen! Families will discover who our Savior is and where He is found. Risen! Is for families with kids 2 years through 6th grade. Families will embark on a 45 minute journey through several stations to discover why Jesus came for us, where He is now, and how we can join Him there. We need adults to serve in a variety of roles over the course of several 2 hour shifts. More information and volunteer registration is available at hoffmantownchurch.org/kids/risen-volunteer/. Young Lives Ablaze

Young Lives Ablaze (Kids Evangelism Conference) is happening at Hoffmantown on Saturday, March 27th 9am-2pm for current 1st through 6th graders. This is an awesome time for your kids to get to know Christ and hang out with their friends. We will have fun lesson, engaging small group times, exciting recreation, and a tasty lunch. We will finish up our day with some awesome science experiments to help us learn more about our Savior and His awesome creation. This is a great event to invite unchurched kids to join in.
