Compass – 3/24/19

This Week’s Sermon

This Sunday Joe Long will be speaking on – This I Believe – The Church (Matthew 6:18b).

Transition Team Update

An encouraging word: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” (Jeremiah 1:5) In a true miracle, God moved the New Mexico Senate to defeat HB 51. This defeat was a great victory in the fight against abortion in this state! Many of you joined thousands across the state in praying unceasingly, writing and calling tirelessly, and standing firm for LIFE! Thank you, LORD, for allowing us to see YOUR miracle! To GOD be the Glory!

Easter Sunday Service, April 21 at 10am

“He is not here, He has risen, just as He said!” Those words, spoken by the angel at the empty tomb, are as true today as they were 2,000 years ago. In fact, no event in history has had more impact on the world than the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Why is the resurrection so important? The Scripture tells us, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins…But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead!” We can now be forgiven of our sins and raised to eternal life by believing in Him. Come and celebrate the Risen Savior and all He’s done for us this Easter Sunday, April the 21 at 10am!
