Pastoral Search Team

With all the cancellations and closures going on around us, the PST wants everyone to know that we are continuing to press on in our efforts to reach the goal set before us.  Thankfully, we have a hope that does not disappoint, because the Lord promises to complete the work that He has started.  We are also praying for all of you as you face these uncertain times, that the Lord will keep you safe and healthy.  (Romans 5:5)

We are trying new ways to see and hear from you every day! This past Wednesday, the Hoffmantown pastors went Live on Facebook to encourage the body, share updates, and answer questions. We received lots of positive feedback on this casual and well-attended session and have already planned our next live event for Wednesday, April 1, at 2:30pm. You will be able to watch the stream live on If you don’t have Facebook or can’t make the live event, we’ll have the recording available on our website afterward.

Our website homepage,, has recently been updated to include important information about our ongoing response to COVID-19, including links to all our Sunday streaming options, giving, and our new Facebook Group for building community online. We are working on getting information up about other various groups currently meeting online. We’ve also added a signup form for those who can help individuals or families in our community with practical assistance. We would love to get you connected so that you can be a blessing to others!

Continue to keep an eye on our website, social media, and your email for updated information. If you know of someone who does not have access to the internet for information, please make an effort to personally reach out to them this week to help keep them updated. Thank you!

Visit to share your story. More invite cards are available at the Reach 2020 table in the Fellowship Mall.

Giving Update!

Thank you once again Hoffmantown Church body for your faithfulness in supporting the church in your continued giving of Tithes & Offerings this past week. For the second week operating under virus restrictions the church again received a bit over $30,000 in gifts last week. Thank you. Giving was 50% via the online option, and 50% from postal mail and hand delivery to the church Receptionist Desk. We encourage you to continue your faithfulness through giving.

Sincerely, Sam Mouck, Director of Operations

Mission Field Playground Closure

An issue was raised during the Facebook Live Pastor Forum regarding whether the church was going to comply with Mayor Keller’s directive to keep parks open, but close the children’s playgrounds within those parks. We will certainly do so. We are creating signage and will use caution tape to close the playground portion of Mission Field. We plan to do a bit of VBS advertising at the same time. The rest of the park will remain open for the use of the church membership and public per the City guidance.
