Destination Dig (VBS 2021)
VBS 2021 is headed to present-day Israel where discovery awaits at Destination Dig. Kids will unearth more than dirt as they dig up exciting evidence that proves biblical events were not just stories. As junior archaeologists, kids will explore real-life archaeological finds that have helped to uncover the truth about Jesus! Along the way, they’ll discover the truth of Jeremiah 29:13, that God reveals Himself to us when we seek and search for Him with all our hearts.
Hoffmantown Kids VBS is a free event, June 7-11th, for kids who completed kindergarten through 6th grade. Registration for children is available at: hoffmantownchurch.org/vbs/ or in the Kids Ministry Foyer.
It takes over 100 volunteers to do Vacation Bible School for our community. Will you prayerfully consider serving with this awesome team? We are currently seeking to fill lots of volunteer roles with all kinds of skill-sets both in classes with kids and not. We have a place for you! The Volunteer booth will be set up in the Fellowship Mall. You are welcome to contact Sarah Goodrich at email@example.com to sign up or for more information.
Specifically, VBS is looking for people with formal medical training such as: Doctors, EMTs, RNs, or Nursing Assistants to serve as VBS nurses. If you are not available the whole week, that is just fine. Please contact Sarah Goodrich if you are willing to share these skills.

Here at Hoffmantown we are blessed to have a very active and energetic group of staff and volunteers who make up our Adult Family Ministries. Even during COVID, they have been actively ministering and serving the adults in the Men’s, Women’s, Legacy, and Equipping areas of the church.
The Equipping Ministry oversees baptisms, adult Sunday School classes, Next Steps classes, all Communication Card responses, gets prayer requests out to our faithful prayer warriors and coordinates our church celebrations including our family picnic. There are a couple of current needs in the Equipping Ministry. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We would also like to give a big shout out to Tabitha Baker, Administrative Assistant. Tabitha has faithfully and graciously served in the ministry of Hoffmantown for 5 years. She is leaving to join her husband, Russell, in full time ministry, and we pray God’s blessings on their work together.
CareNet is a Christian, pro-life, pregnancy organization whose mission is to provide free, confidential services, and assist in loving support during an unplanned pregnancy. There will be a table in the Fellowship Mall where you can pick up a baby bottle(s) to collect your spare change or other financial donation. They will be available on April 18th and 25th at the beginning of each service. We ask that the bottles be returned no later than Mother’s Day, May 9th. Please come by and support this important ministry.
