This Week’s Sermon

This Sunday Joe Long will be speaking on – Triumph & Tragedy – (Luke 19:29-42).

Transition Team Update

Encouraging Words: We were blessed to have 3 baptisms last Sunday and others are responding to calls to receive Christ.

One of our members just returned from a missions trips to India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Guatemala. The church was a part of supporting these. Around 800 believers were trained in evangelism, discipleship, and ministry. Although our local community remains our primary focus, we are still making a difference around the globe as a church and this was just one example of the church’s Purpose, Vision, and Mission in action. Praise God for what He did.

We only have a couple more weeks to get your offerings in for Annie Armstrong. These monies are needed to support our Southern Baptist missionaries.

Thank you once more for your donations to the Chiller! We will be needing it soon.

We are continuing to receive your nominations for the Pastoral Search Committee. The deadline for submissions is April 21. Nominations may be submitted by email to: or deposited in the green box provided at the Receptionist Desk. Needed: Nominee name, email address and phone, description of why they should be considered, nominator’s name and contact information.

Easter Sunday Service, April 21 at 10am

“He is not here, He has risen, just as He said!” Those words, spoken by the angel at the empty tomb, are as true today as they were 2,000 years ago. In fact, no event in history has had more impact on the world than the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Why is the resurrection so important? The Scripture tells us, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins…But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead!” We can now be forgiven of our sins and raised to eternal life by believing in Him. Come and celebrate the Risen Savior and all He’s done for us this Easter Sunday, April the 21 at 10am! There will be NO K-Groups.

National Day of Prayer May 2

So many in the country have fallen away and no longer follow or honor God. Pray His people would pray for God’s forgiveness and for our Country, He will give us a deep longing to walk with Him and to put our relationships with Him first in all things, He will refresh our spirits and joy and give us a deep thirst for His Word and prayer, He will convict all people that He is Lord and will unite us as one nation under God, we will not conform to the things of the world and we will call sin what it is -we will not condone gossip, lying, cheating, profanity, adultery, divorce, or prideful ways.
