This Week’s Sermon
This Sunday Joe Long will be speaking on – They Thought They Destroyed the Church – (Isaiah 53, John 2:19-21, Luke 24:1-8).
Transition Team Update
Encouraging Words: Mark 16:5-7: As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as He told you.’”
We only have a couple more weeks to get your offerings in for Annie Armstrong. These monies are needed to support our Southern Baptist missionaries.
We are continuing to receive your nominations for the Pastoral Search Committee. The deadline for submissions is April 21. Nominations may be submitted by email to:TTeam@hoffmantown.org or deposited in the green box provided at the Receptionist Desk. Needed: Nominee name, email address and phone, description of why they should be considered, nominator’s name and contact information.

National Day of Prayer is May 2
Pray all God’s people would pray for the President, his cabinet, appointees, the Senate, House, state and local elected officials, that they would serve with honesty and integrity for the good of the people and the country and not be corrupted by greed, power and self serving pride. Pray He would convict their hearts to seek His wisdom, guidance and direction in prayer. Pray elected officials would fear the Lord and understand their roles of public service and that without His direction the country will spiral into spiritual decay. Pray for the selection of Godly judges and lawyers in all areas of the judicial system. Pray federal judges would impartially interpret the Constitution and the laws of the land as written and not be swayed by personal ideology or political or social issues.
