Destination Dig (VBS 2021)
VBS 2021 is headed to present-day Israel where discovery awaits at Destination Dig. Kids will unearth more than dirt as they dig up exciting evidence that proves biblical events were not just stories. As junior archaeologists, kids will explore real-life archaeological finds that have helped to uncover the truth about Jesus! Along the way, they’ll discover the truth of Jeremiah 29:13, that God reveals Himself to us when we seek and search for Him with all our hearts.
Hoffmantown Kids VBS is a FREE EVENT, June 7-11th, for kids who completed kindergarten through 6th grade. Registration for children is available at: hoffmantownchurch.org/vbs/ or in the Kids Ministry Foyer.
It takes over 100 volunteers to do Vacation Bible School for our community. Will you prayerfully consider serving with this awesome team? We are currently seeking to fill lots of volunteer roles with all kinds of skill-sets both in classes with kids and not. We have a place for you! The Volunteer booth is in the Fellowship Mall. You are welcome to contact Sarah Goodrich at email@example.com to sign up or for more information.
Specifically, VBS is looking for a great Recreation Team Leader. This person should enjoy playing games (both with water and without) with kids completed 1st-completed 6th grade. Games usually include large group games, relays, water games, and more. We are more than happy to train if this is something you would enjoy but do not have experience doing. If this is something you can see yourself doing, please stop by the VBS tent or email Sarah Goodrich at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Kids Ministry Leaders Needed
Kids Ministry is experiencing lots of growth in our Nursery division (2 year olds and younger)! We are needing to add more leaders to care for and teach our littlest ones. We have openings during the 9:30am service in our infant and toddler rooms. Nursery team members serve one month at a time during the 9:30am service. So, as a team member, you would serve one month, attend service the next month, and then serve again the following month. We are anticipating this growth to continue as we head into the fall so this is an ongoing need. To serve, please contact Sarah Goodrich in the Kids Ministry at email@example.com or 858-8601.
Mission Prayer Moment
This week the Mission Council is specifically praying for Noah Webster College. Noah Webster is a Christian liberal arts college with the core values of teaching our future Christian leaders the importance of a Biblical worldview and an accurate knowledge of His Word. Join the Mission Council and Mission Ministry as they pray for this local college.
