Pastoral Search Team

The PST continues to pursue God’s will for our next pastor. Please pray for discernment from the Spirit as we discuss the options before us. Pray that lines of communication stay open and clear. We are excited about the news that we will begin to gather in person again soon!

We can continue to pray for everyone to stay safe and healthy. (Galatians 6:9)

Our Daily Bread for June, July, August 2020 is now available at the church. Come to the doors in front of the Receptionist Desk and the receptionist will release the door lock for your admittance. The books are just inside that door on top of a tithe box.

Tuesday Afternoons

Tuesday Afternoons is for widows and widowers to come and study the Word of God, pray together and join each other in fellowship and fun. Because all of us are staying home these days, we are “meeting” on Zoom from 1:30 to 3:30pm on the last Tuesday of the month, May 26. If you would like to join this ZOOM event, contact us at afm@hoffmantown.org to get the link for joining the meeting. You can also join by telephone via ZOOM, but long distance charges will apply. We hope to see you online for fellowship and prayer!

We praise God and thank you!

To all the people who were a part of delivering the “blessing bags” to our beloved widows, Thank You! This includes the people who delivered the bags, called the people, assembled the bags, and contributed your tithes and offerings so things like this can happen! We have received many beautiful thank you cards and they are all for you!

STUDENT & FAMILY MINISTRIES

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

As kids explore a world of concrete and cranes, rivets and rebar, bulldozers and backhoes, they will learn to build their faith on Jesus as they uncover the truth that He who began a good work will be faithful to carry it on to completion. Hoffmantown Kids VBS is a free event, July 27-31 from 9am-12:15pm for children entering kindergarten-entering 8th grade. Registration is now available at: www.hoffmantownchurch.org/vbs/. We are still seeking volunteers, if you are interested in serving, please contact Sarah Goodrich at sarahg@hoffmantown.org.

VBS Supplies Needed

We are in need of supplies for Vacation Bible School. We are still planning on doing VBS July 27-31, so we need to continue with the preparations. You are more than welcome to have supplies ship to the church directly if you order online. Please contact Sarah in Kids Ministry at sarahg@hoffmantown.org with any questions.
