Transition Team Update

The Transition Team, Elders and Pastors would like to thank everyone who attended the Congregational Meeting this past Sunday. We were very encouraged by the turn-out and church body support. We will be initiating a Personnel Committee in the near future. If you are interested in participating in this committee, please contact the TTeam at TTeam@hoffmantown.org. We are looking for members who have a Human Resources background, or who have managed employees.

Hoffmantown Congregational Meeting Sunday, June 30 at 5pm

The next Congregational Meeting will be held Sunday, June 30 at 5pm in the Worship Center. This will be an important meeting because we will be voting on the new bylaws. Meals for the Moment

Have you run out of food before the next paycheck arrives? Has life overwhelmed you? Maybe a family member is in the hospital or dinner has escaped you? Do you suddenly have a ton of company and no groceries? Do you know of a family who could use a meal for any reason? Stop by the Receptionist Desk and pick up a frozen casserole made with love Monday thru Thursday 8-5pm and Friday 8-1:30pm.

Tuesday Afternoons

Women’s Ministry

We would like to remind you all that there is a women’s prayer time that will take place every Tuesday morning from 8:45-9:15AM in B202 throughout the summer. Please join us as we bring our praises and petitions before the LORD. All are welcome. You will not be expected to pray aloud; we just want to lift our prayers with one accord. Let’s utilize this powerful asset God has graciously given us!

Psalm 23: The Shepherd with Me, Bible Study- Tuesday, June 11 at 9:30am in room B208

A 7 week Bible study by Jennifer Rothschild will help change our whole understanding of God’s lover for us. Psalm 23 is a spiritual lullaby that our Shepherd sings over us in every season of life as we learn to walk confident that our Shepherd guides us. In this study, we’ll spend time daily in our workbook, meet weekly to review what God’s revealed in our lesson and then watch Jennifer’s video. Join us for a wonderful study and time of fellowship with others.

Lord, Teach Me to Study in 28 Days by Kay Arthur- Tuesday, June 11 at 9:30am in room B204

Have you ever felt there has to be more to the Bible than what you are experiencing? Have you longed to have greater understanding of His Word? Do you want to learn to discover truth for yourself? This interactive study helps you recognize key words and concepts, discover main points of any passage discern God’s purpose and apply life-changing truths to your everyday life. Join us as we learn these elements through our study of the Books of Jonah and Jude.

CHILDREN & STUDENT FAMILY MINISTRIES

Student Home Groups

High school students and Mid-school students will be meeting every 1st and 3rd Sunday. They will meet from 5–7pm at a host home near the church. Volunteer Getaway to Camp Inlow

We have the opportunity to come along side Pastor Chris Branan and Inlow Camp (90 minutes from Albuquerque) to help in kitchen duties (any number of days) during the following dates: June 4-7, and June 17-21. Please contact the Mission Ministry at missions@hoffmantown.org or 858-8660.

His Store Needs!

His Store is in need of your help with the following food items: Cereal, beef soups, canned chili (meat & beans), Granola/snack bars, Ramen Noodles, canned pork & beans. Please drop off these items at the Receptionist Desk at any time. Check expiration dates before donating your items. Thank you for serving our Lord by helping feed those in need.

Church Hours

Due to security, all outside doors will be locked after office hours. If you need access after these hours, please contact the church at 828-2600 to make arrangements. Ministry leads will be responsible for access for meetings and events that are outside of the office hours.

In the East parking lot there are woodchips and stacked fire wood. If you have a need for either of these, please feel free to come by and pick them up.

Israel Trip

Mike and Susan Unthank, Hosts, will be leading a trip to Israel in February 2020, leaving February 5 and returning home February 20. There will be an extensive tour throughout Israel, a 4 day extension trip available following the main tour. Includes Petra, Jordan and the Southern Red Sea city of Eliat, Israel.
