Hoffmantown Church Finance Committee

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Heb. 4:16)

We come to know Jesus when we are in His Presence. And when we quiet ourselves in His Presence, we more easily hear His guiding voice and we will honor Him with our obedience. We are thankful, and blessed, that we can participate in our weekly Worship Services on Sunday and that our Pastors and Leaders are available for us. Over the past few weeks, we have seen our giving fall significantly yet many expenses are fixed. The Pastors and staff have done a great job adjusting and reducing expenses where possible. We are not spending more than we receive. In this extraordinary time, we ask our members to prayerfully consider increasing your giving for a period of time. Some may want to initiate regular electronic giving to make it easier; this can be accomplished at our website Hoffmantownchurch.org. These are challenging times but God has promised His mercy and grace in this time of need.

We want to recognize and thank those who have continued to give faithfully through this time.

Let’s Pray Together

Please join us in a weekly prayer time over the telephone Thursdays at 7 pm. The prayer host, Jim Smith, will guide us through the various sections of the prayer. We will be using the CATS model for prayer (Confession, Adoration, Thanksgiving, Supplication). Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Concrete and Cranes | Building on the Love of Jesus

As kids explore a world of concrete and cranes, rivets and rebar, bulldozers and backhoes, they will learn to build their faith on Jesus as they uncover the truth that He who began a good work will be faithful to carry it on to completion. Hoffmantown Kids VBS is a free event, July 27-31 from 9am-12:15pm for children entering kindergarten-entering 8th grade. Registration is now available at: https://www.hoffmantownchurch.org/vbs/. We are still seeking volunteers, if you are interested in serving, please contact Sarah Goodrich at sarahg@hoffmantown.org.

VBS Supplies Needed

We are in need of supplies for Vacation Bible School. We are still planning on doing VBS June 1-5, so we need to continue with the preparations. Since we are not able to set up a donation board for you all to see this year, we have made a digital one. Please see this link: https://www.hoffmantownchurch.org/vbs/donate/ for more information. You are more than welcome to have supplies ship to church directly if you order online. Please contact Sarah in Kids Ministry at sarahg@hoffmantown.org with any questions.
