COVID-19 Response

Latest Information | Updated May 28, 2020, at 3:55pm

Our pastors and leaders have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it has continued to develop. They've been praying and planning for how we will move forward now that churches have been allowed to start meeting in person again. They have also appreciated your prayers during this time! As of now, we are planning on relaunching our on-site worship service on Sunday, June 7th, at 9:30 am. We'll have to hold off on providing child care for a while longer, but we'll be taking steps to make our services more child-friendly, such as shortening the service length, and providing sanitized activity bags for kids to enjoy. Sunday School classes will continue to meet online until further notice.

We understand that many of you may not feel comfortable or may have concerns about returning, and we want you to know that there is absolutely no pressure for you to attend on-site until you feel ready. We would encourage you to be discerning based on your circumstances, especially if you're in higher-risk categories. If you currently have any symptoms or have been around anyone with coronavirus recently, we ask that you please stay home and watch online until you are free from symptoms or exposure to COVID-19.

We will continue to stream our service live on Hoffmantown.Online, Facebook, and YouTube, and we'd love to see you on any of those platforms. For those that decide to join us, we are looking forward to seeing you again! We are still finalizing some details, and we will have more information next week regarding the precautions that we'll be taking that Sunday, including social distancing, sanitation, and the use of face masks. Please continue to be in prayer and keep an eye on the website and social media for more information soon.

All other Sunday and mid-week activities have been suspended or are meeting online until further notice.

    • We have Sunday School classes now meeting at various times throughout the week on their smartphones and computers. Click Here for information about what your Sunday School class is offering. Or if you're not a part of a class and would like to be, contact us today.

    • AWANA teams are meeting online in the older age groups, and we are preparing to roll out online resources for the Cubbies and Sparks to continue with activities such as Bible verse memorization.

OFFICE HOURS: We have reduced our on-site staff each day to the minimum required to remain operational as a place of worship.

Mission Field Playground is closed per the city guidance.

    • The rest of the park will remain open for the use of the church membership and public.

    • After reviewing the opening strategy set forth by the Governor’s office, our leadership team has determined it best for Kids Express to remain closed until the new school year starts August 10, 2020.
    • It’s not too late to register for the 2020-2021 school year, but we have limited space still available.
