Hoffmantown believes that baptism by immersion is commanded of all Believers as an act of obedience, signifying the death, burial, and resurrection “in Christ” of the Believer. Hoffmantown does not believe in baptismal regeneration, nor does it believe that baptism is necessary to be a Believer.
