ADULT FAMILY MINISTRIES

Senior Ambassadors Ministry

The Legacy Ministry of previous years has changed to Senior Ambassadors Ministry! The focus of this ministry will be serving our Body ages 70+, married, single or otherwise. The official kick off will be Tuesday, January 24, at 1:30pm in room B209/221 with the free movie viewing of “Lifemark.” Please come and have some popcorn and enjoy great fellowship. We encourage you to bring a neighbor, or friend and take advantage of the opportunity to have a Gospel conversation, after the movie. Please click on the link below to view the movie trailer.

https://youtu.be/FXqcDZLb4zw After the January 24 kick off, we will meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoons from 1:30- 3pm. The Senior Ambassadors Ministry exists to demonstrate God’s Love, Grace, Mercy, and Strength, as we are being renewed in the inner man day by day. 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV) “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

If you have any questions, contact Kathy Tesch at afm@hoffmantown.org or 858-8696.

We will also be having an UNO tournament Friday night, a movie night with nachos on Saturday, times of worship, several teaching times, daily personal devotions, and a sunrise service on Sunday. This will be a great time for sure! Hope to see you there!

KIDS MINISTRY

Parents Night Out: Friend of God

As the New Year starts and we remember those “old acquaintances” as we sang Auld Lang Syne, we remember our oldest acquaintance, Jesus. Really, though, it is wonderful to say Jesus is our friend. As we start the New Year in Kids Ministry we prepare for our first event of the year, Parents Night Out, “Friend of God,” on Friday February 17. Volunteer sign-ups are open now. Go to hoffmantownchurch.org/events/pno to register. Friends, come join us as we show these kids the best friend they could ever have.

Kids Worship Services

Our kids’ worship service (The Rock) meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Children hear the Word of God on their level through teaching, worship, crafts, and games. They also learn how to apply the Word of God in their daily lives and what following Jesus looks like as a child.
