Hoffmantown Fall Festival

Fall Festival will be an Indoor event on October 31, from 6-8pm, with families from Hoffmantown and the Albuquerque community being invited to experience a trick-or-treating alternative with “Heroes from the Bible!” There will be games, candy, hotdogs, an inflatable slide, and lots of Biblical creative fun! It’ll be a perfect environment to be the “Light of Christ” and Gospel conversations! We need our entire Hoffmantown Family for this outreach event. We have a variety of ways to serve and give – both for those more active and slower paced – for every member to join in this evangelistic event. We also need a plethora of candy! There are large containers distributed throughout the building for your candy. If you have questions, contact kids@hoffmantown.org.

Pastor Appreciation Month
“Thank you” can go a long way…October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Our Pastors, Elders and Directors are not after man’s approval but work for God’s approval as bondservants of Christ, shepherding as ones who will give an account to God. Each year we set aside the month of October to honor our amazing Hoffmantown Church leaders. For the next 31 days, let’s come together and show them the depth of our gratitude for all that they do for us!

Here are some ways that you can participate as you prayerfully consider how you can be a conduit of grace, hope and love to build up our leaders this month.

Prayer – “Brethren, pray for us.” 1 Thessalonians 5:25 Pause for a few moments every day to pray for each of our Hoffmantown Church leaders and their families. A list of our Pastors, Directors and Elders can be found at hoffmantownchurch.org/staff/.

Gratitude and Encouragement – We have been impacted by each of these incredible Hoffmantown Church leaders in life-changing ways and we cannot thank them enough for the way they faithfully serve us. 1 Thessalonians 5:13 says, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” Let’s practice this together. If you have an encouraging word for any of our leaders, use this month to write them a note and tell them how they have impacted your life. Simply drop a card or note in an offering box or in the mail.

KIDS MINISTRY

God is Answering Your Fervent Prayers!

… in bringing new families to Hoffmantown! Kids Ministry is growing, especially in our nursery (babies-2 year olds) and preschool classes (3 and 4 year olds). Kids Ministry needs you to love on and share Jesus with our children. We have multiple areas of need every Sunday for you to partner with our current teachers. We would love for you to join our vibrant fun-loving ministry Team, one Sunday a month or two Sundays a month, to share in the blessings that we experience every week as we love children and families in the Name of Jesus! Contact kids@hoffmantown.org if you’d like to serve in this ministry.

MUSIC & WORSHIP MINISTRY

Christmas at Hoffmantown

As you’re making plans for your holiday season, make sure to save the date for “Christmas at Hoffmantown” on Saturday, December 4th at 7pm. This year’s presentation is sure to be special as guest artists, Bradley and Holly Knight, will collaborate with our Worship Choir and Orchestra to bring you and your family a Christmas concert you won’t soon forget. Bradley Knight has served as staff arranger and worship leader for some of the most prominent churches in America: Christ Church Choir, Prestonwood, and, most recently, the famous Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in NY. He’s also a producer, orchestrator, and accomplished keyboardist. He’s written and arranged music for the Gaither Homecoming Friends, Lee Greenwood, LeAnn Rimes, Vestal Goodman, Lee University, and the Collingsworth Family to name a few. But, perhaps, what he’s best known for, is being the preeminent music arranger for Choirs and Orchestras in the church today. Hoffmantown is one of those churches who has benefited from his gifts and ministry over the years. Bradley’s wife, Holly, serves alongside him in ministry and is a gifted singer, writer, speaker, and worship leader. You won’t want to miss this incredible “one night only” event, so be sure to mark your calendars for December 4th now. As a bonus, Bradley and Holly will also be leading worship with us on Sunday, December 5th.
