Fall Festival October 31

Fall Festival is around the corner and our candy meter is already filling up! Only one week after taking candy we have already hit 15% of our 35,000 piece goal! We are still looking for a lot more volunteers and have plenty of spaces between our game booths, our prayer team, our candy runners, and more! Invite your friends—invite your class—and join in this fun time reaching our local community!

Candy Donations for Fall Festival

We are accepting candy donations in the decorated bins at both the Main Entrance and Kids Entrance. Our goal is 35,000 pieces of candy. Make sure to check out the candy meter by the main stairwell each week to see how close we are to reaching our candy goal!

Pastor Appreciation Month“Thank you” can go a long way…October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Our Pastors, Elders and Directors are not after man’s approval but work for God’s approval as bondservants of Christ, shepherding as ones who will give an account to God. Each year we set aside the month of October to honor our amazing Hoffmantown Church leaders. For the next 31 days, let’s come together and show them the depth of our gratitude for all that they do for us!

Here are some ways that you can participate as you prayerfully consider how you can be a conduit of grace, hope and love to build up our leaders and their families this month.Prayer – “Brethren, pray for us.” 1 Thessalonians 5:25 Pause for a few moments every day to pray for each of our Hoffmantown Church leaders and their families. A list of our Pastors, Directors and Elders can be found here: https://www.hoffmantownchurch.org/staff/

Gratitude and Encouragement – We have been impacted by each of these incredible Hoffmantown Church leaders in life-changing ways and we cannot thank them enough for the way they faithfully serve us. 1 Thessalonians 5:13 says, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” Let’s practice this together. If you have an encouraging word for any of our leaders and their families, use this month to write them a note and tell them how they have impacted your life. Simply drop a card or note in an offering box or in the mail.

In Loving Memory

Please continue to be in prayer for the family of Sharon Benton.
