At our last meeting, we were joined by Kids Director, Caitlin Craft, who updated us on the magnificent things happening in Kids Ministry. Caitlin wants to be sure the Kids Ministry is always welcoming and always serving as a pathway, not a barrier, for the gospel to be presented. That welcoming starts with our new coffee bar, a new seating area, and a new resource area for parents. It also includes an update for the Rock. Those things change, but the focus remains the same. We are here to teach the gospel so that kids will know God, so they will comprehend the authority of His Word, and so they will walk with Jesus daily. Our greatest desire is that the kids and their families will belong to the family of God, and we pray Hoffmantown will be the place they want to belong as well. Here, we tackle strong issues, and we help families get through them. As we offer Sunday morning church and Sunday School, Tuesday and Wednesday night Awana programs, Kids Express, MOCHA, and big, annual events such as the Fall Festival and Vacation Bible School (coming soon!), we covet your prayers for consistent teachers, numerous volunteers, and wisdom in all decisions. If you want to help in any way, please contact Kids Ministry at kids@hoffmantown.org. There are always exciting places for anyone who wishes to help!
