The Hats We Wear
Hoffmantown Women’s Ministry will host a Tea/Coffee, “The Hats We Wear,” on Saturday, April 18th from 10:30am-12:30pm. For those who would like to wear one of their many hats, there will be an award for the most elegant and most creative hat! We are very excited to have Catrina Elder as our speaker and we will have some very special music. Cost for the Tea/coffee is $10. You may register at hoffmantownchurch.org/events/womens-event-26/ or in person the two Sundays before the event. Childcare is available if you register your children. We welcome all women but want to have enough “tea menu” food items for everyone who attends! Bring your special tea cup or mug if you wish! See you there! Deadline to register is April 15 by 5pm.

At our April meeting, we were blessed to hear a report from Pastor Gregory Elder about our Adult Family and Equipping Ministries. Pastor Gregory emphasized that in ministry, we are here to serve, and in the adult ministries–and every ministry–the focus must be the gospel. To serve Him effectively, we need to lay down our personal preferences and follow God’s leading. Pastor Gregory spoke of many of the wonderful things happening in this ministry, including Sunday School classes, Wills and Trust Seminars, equipping classes, and RightNow Media. We bring the lost inside our walls on Sports Sunday, Easter, and Round-up, we are the hands and feet of Christ as we visit shut-ins and those in the hospital, and we provide communities and fellowship in our men’s, women’s, and senior events. Pastor Gregory’s passion is to reach the lost and to equip the saints, so in it all, this ministry points to Jesus.
