In our April meeting, we were blessed to hear from Pastor Gregory Elder regarding the Equipping Ministry and the Adult Family Ministry (AFM). Pastor Gregory emphasized that they both stand firm on Biblical doctrines, and their goal is to cultivate a Gospel culture–making everything about Jesus, evangelism, and discipleship. The Equipping Ministries include our Sunday School classes, our weekday equipping classes, the Next Steps classes, the Easter Fellowship, Round-up Sunday activities, seminars on Wills and Trusts, and the online Bible studies made available in RightNowMedia. Adult Family Ministries include our men’s gatherings, women’s events, Senior Ambassadors, the dementia caregivers group, GriefShare lunches, and visiting ministries (visiting those in the hospital or those who are homebound). All of these ministries are designed to strengthen our Hoffmantown family and to then take our members out of their church “bubbles” to reach those in need of Jesus. We thank Pastor Gregory for his devotion to the Kingdom and for his passion for the hearts of people.
