Servant Sunday – April 30Please join us on April 30 for Servant Sunday. We will celebrate and emphasize serving in the Kingdom of God in our worship service together. There will be a “Servant Sunday” table in the Fellowship Mall with details on the various areas of service here at Hoffmantown. Please stop by the table and take a look. It is our belief that all Christians should be serving in the Kingdom of God. What are your spiritual gifts? Talents? Passions? Put them into action and become a servant here at Hoffmantown.

 

ADULT FAMILY MINISTRIES

Senior Ambassadors Ministry–Tuesday afternoons

If you are 70 years old or older, please join us Tuesday, April 25, and each 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoons at 1:30pm for a time of devotion and fellowship. We meet in room B209/221, we end at 3pm. We would love to have you join us for this focused time. Be a bringer, please invite a friend or neighbor or someone you have been praying for. Alzheimer’s / Dementia Caregiver Support Group  

If you are currently caring for or have a loved one with Alzheimer’s or Dementia, you are not alone. Come join with others in fellowship that are on the same journey. We will be meeting Friday, April 28, and on the 2nd and 4th Friday mornings of each month, from 10-11:30am in room B104. This will include a time of Biblical application to draw strength from His word; sharing our day-to-day struggles and successes for mutual encouragement; supporting each other in prayer. AFM Homebound Ministry – Volunteer Informational Meeting

If you signed up to be a volunteer or considered signing up, please join us on Sunday, May 7, at 12:15pm for a short informational meeting in room B115.

Bling Show

Shine Partnership, the ministry that connected us with Arroyo del Oso Elementary School, is having a 50% off Spring Bling Event Saturday, April 29, 9am-2pm at 7001 San Antonio Dr. NE, 87109. Like their annual Bling Show, this event offers jewelry, purses, accessories, scarves, but this time with an additional 50% off! All proceeds go toward Shine Partnership and their ministry to connect churches with Title 1 schools in their area.

 

KIDS MINISTRY

Family Dedication

Are you interested in dedicating your children and your family to the Lord? We have dedication services coming up on May 14 (Mother’s Day) and June 18 (Father’s Day). Please email kids@hoffmantown.org or fill out a registration card in the Kids Lobby if you are interested.

 

VBS 2023: June 5th-9th

VBS is coming soon and we are looking for leaders and volunteers for our Babies–1st Grade classes. We need your help! Join us as we teach kids how to use the Armor of God and to defend and know truth. Please sign up in the Fellowship Mall or email kids@hoffmantown.org.

 

VBS FIRST MEETING: April 29th from 9:30–11:30am

If you are volunteering to help with VBS, plan to attend our first meeting on April 29th from 9:30–11:30am. You will get your schedule, curriculum, teaching supplies and T-shirt at this meeting so please come ready to get excited about VBS! Breakfast will be served.

We need your help with donations for VBS! Drop off your items in the decorated trash cans in the Fellowship Mall.

•         Thin pool noodles (dollar store noodles)

•         Colored tissue paper

•         Plastic bottle caps

•         1” and 2” multi-colored pom-poms

•         Craft foam sheets, colored

•         Frog painter’s tape

•         Double-sided tape

•         Shoe boxes or other similarly-sized boxes

•         Crayola brand crayons

•         Wax paper

•         Regular popsicle sticks

•         JUMBO popsicle sticks

•         ½” glue dots

•         Red felt sheets

•         Scotch tape

•         White glue sticks

•         Women’s crew socks, solid colors, no logos, no heel/toe color variations example

 

 

Kids Camp: June 12th-16th

Kids Camp will be at Inlow Camp from June 12th-16th and will be for kids who have completed 2nd-6th grade. The cost will be $220 for early registration (until May 15th!) and $240 for late registration. Please register on the Hoffmantown events page or email kids@hoffmantown.org for more information.

 

 

 

Kids Worship Services

Our kids’ worship service (The Rock) meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, except April. April Rock services will be the 3rd and 5th Sundays. Children hear the Word of God on their level through teaching, worship, crafts, and games. They also learn how to apply the Word of God in their daily lives and what following Jesus looks like as a child.
