Special Business Meeting
There will be a special business meeting on Sunday, May 21, at 4pm in the Worship Center. The topic is the recent land sale. You will receive information about the sale itself, how we arrived at this point and what is in store ahead for the proceeds from the sale. There will be time for. In addition, there will be a vote by the church membership in attendance regarding an initial proposal on handling a portion of the proceeds. Childcare will be provided.

ADULT FAMILY MINISTRIES
Senior Ambassadors Ministry – Tuesday afternoons
Looking for a place to fellowship and learn with other believers aged 70 and over? Come join us Tuesday, May 9, and each 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoon at 1:30pm for a time of devotion and fellowship. We meet in room B209/221, we end at 3pm. We would love to have you join us for this focused time. Be a bringer, please invite a friend or neighbor or someone you have been praying for. Alzheimer’s Dementia Caregiver Support Group
Do you have questions and concerns about maneuvering the journey with a loved one experiencing Alzheimer’s or Dementia? You are not alone. Come join with others in fellowship who are on the same journey. We will be meeting Friday, May 12, and on the 2nd and 4th Friday mornings of each month, from 10-11:30am in room B104. This will include a time of Biblical application to draw strength from His word; sharing our day-to-day struggles and successes for mutual encouragement; supporting each other in prayer. VBS 2023: June 5th-9thkids@hoffmantown.org.
VBS is coming soon and we are looking for 10 teacher helpers for our Babies–2nd Grade classes and 3 more volunteers for teaching the craft. We could also use a few more to come along side food and games for the VBS Family Night on Friday, June 9th from 6-8pm. VBS Donations
We need your help with donations for VBS! Drop off your items in the decorated trash cans in the Fellowship Mall. • 1” and 2” multi-colored pom-poms • Craft foam sheets, colored • Double-sided tape • Shoe boxes or other similarly-sized boxes
Kids Worship Services
Our kids’ worship service (The Rock) meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Children hear the Word of God on their level through teaching, worship, crafts, and games. They also learn how to apply the Word of God in their daily lives and what following Jesus looks like as a child.
MISSIONS
CareNet Baby Bottle Fundraiser
CareNet is a Christian, pro-life, pregnancy organization whose mission is to provide free, confidential services, and assist in loving support during an unplanned pregnancy. Hoffmantown Church is coming alongside CareNet with a fundraiser in celebration of Mother’s Day. There will be a table in the Fellowship Mall where you can pick up a baby bottle(s) to collect your spare change or other financial donation. They will be available this Sunday, May 7th and May 14th before each service. Please come by and support this important ministry!
