MISSIONS
Missionary Talk
Hoffmantown, how are the missionaries connected to our church doing? Join us Tuesday, July 21, at 6pm to meet with one, Mac. Mac will share what God is doing in his work in the Middle East and what ministry is like. Missions is the heart of Hoffmantown so please come, encourage Mac and let’s pray for him and his family. Dessert will be provided as an incentive.
July Burrito Outreach
La Familia De Dios, our local Spanish-language church partner, is hosting another burrito outreach event at their church on Saturday, July 25 at 8:30am. Missions is again looking for volunteers who would like to participate with packing bags of food for those in need, help hand out burritos prepared fresh on Saturday morning by La Familia De Dios church volunteers (along with food bags and water), and sharing the gospel. Seven individuals prayed to receive Jesus during the May outreach. If you are interested or would like more information, please email us at missions@hoffmantown.org.
Bling Show Box Donations
The Bling Show is back! They are looking for donations of gently used jewelry, purses, scarves, and other accessories. A blue donation box is located at the Reception Desk. This year’s proceeds from the show will go toward the Albuquerque Leadership Foundation which reaches in need families in the Albuquerque area. Donations will be accepted until September 1.

Hoffmantown is very blessed to have some amazing people involved in various ministries here. At our July meeting, we received updates from our Deacon Ministry and our Finance Committee. Stacy Fugate, Deacon chairman, and a few of the Deacon team leaders shared with us about some of the teams. First, we have Ushers who are present at our doors, who take up the offering, and who greet those coming in. Students, men, and women are all welcome to serve. This is a wonderful way to meet people and to make our visitors feel welcome. In addition to our Ushers, we have an amazing team that helps drive the golf carts. This is a crucial ministry, we have very faithful workers, and we know that people are grateful for the help. Finally, the Deacon Ministry includes our Security Team. What a blessing it is to know that our own church members are willing to work to keep us safe. The requirements for this ministry are higher than most, for our Security Team is well trained. With this and any of our ministries, we would welcome those who feel led to join to come aboard!
Our second ministry update came from Robert Ewing who is the Finance Committee chairman. This committee is determined to work with integrity, accountability, and transparency. The committee prayerfully reviews our finances, and they determine how to maintain our budget, our special missions, our benevolence fund, and our property improvements. We are thrilled to know that because of the land sale, we are able to proceed with “Phase Two,” which will include some upgrades to the Rock in our Kids Ministry area and to our elevators. God has truly blessed us, and we remain exceedingly grateful.
