Administrative Assistant:

Fellowship Gathering #1 – Men’s Ministry Barbeque

Please join us on July 22, 6-8pm for a barbeque cook-out in the grove at Hoffmantown Church! Bring your lawn chairs, side dishes, and conversation for a relaxing gathering. Feel free to bring your children, no matter the age (son, daughter, niece, nephew, grandchild, neighbor, anyone that you are discipling, or hope to disciple one day, etc.). After our fellowshipping meal of hamburgers and brats, we will have a devotion and then volleyball and Uno tournaments. There is no cost to register, but registration is appreciated so that we know how many to plan for and if you will be bringing a side dish (appreciated, but not required). Fellowship Gathering #2 – Men’s Retreat: Love in Action II 

All men of Hoffmantown Church and guests are cordially invited to join us at Inlow Baptist Camp, from August 25-27, for a time of fun, fellowship, worship, and learning for all who attend. The cost of this event is $60. The activities will begin at 6pm, Thursday, August 25, and conclude at noon, on Saturday, August 27. We pray that each of you will want to be a part of this experience. Wacky Water Day July 30

Summer heat got you beat? Come cool off with all your friends at Wacky Water Day on Saturday, July 30, from 2-4pm on our Mission Field. Whether you’re ready to take on inflatable slides and a water balloon bonanza or kiddie pools are more your speed, there’s plenty of water fun for the whole family. If you’re wondering if you’ve passed the age limit for Wacky Water Day…you can still dive in and VOLUNTEER! Come join Kids Ministry on July 30 to help with setup, teardown, and filling buckets and water balloons! Contact Stacy Teel or if you’re interested – and willing to get wet!

Members from the Deacon ministry shared with the Church Council on the areas of Ushers, Security Team and Cart Ministry. These service teams are Deacon-led, but others from the congregation can serve on the teams.

Deacons are called by God to serve in this office, and they are ordained by the church for life.


The Finance Committee chaired by Doug Lawson, shared that the financial state of Hoffmantown Church is healthy. Recently, the committee authorized 10 property improvement projects that were recommendations from church leadership.
