Fall Festival October 31

Fall Festival is fast approaching, and volunteer sign-ups have begun! Last year we reached roughly 1,000 kids and parents and even saw some give their life to Christ! What an awesome and fun way to share the Gospel of Christ to our neighbors, community, and young generations! This year we hope to see 1,200 kids and parents and will need all the help we can get! If you are interested in seeing what you can do to be part of this, you can check our sign-up table in the Fellowship Mall outside the Worship Center, speak with any of our Kids Ministry staff, or send an email to kids@hoffmantown.org.

Candy Donations

We are accepting candy donations in the decorated bins at both the main entrance and kids entrance. Our goal is 35,000 pieces of candy. Make sure to check out the candy meter by the main stairwell each week to see how close we are to reaching our candy goal!

MISSIONS

Balloon Fiesta Outreach

With fall comes hot air balloons and the Mission Ministry’s Balloon Fiesta Outreach! This is a fun time to share the love of Christ to those attending the Fiesta through happy greetings and warm cups of hot chocolate and coffee. Missions will be doing this outreach the mornings of October 1-2 and October 7-9 right out in our parking lot. We’d love to have at least 8 lovely volunteers signed up for each day. However, if we do not get enough volunteers for a certain day we will NOT be doing the outreach, so please join us in signing up to help! If you are interested, there is a sign up table in the Fellowship mall or you can contact Adrienne at Missions@hoffmantown.org or 858-8660.

Mark your calendars Mission Sunday October 23!

Mike Everett, a missionary with International Mission Board, will be coming to speak on Sunday morning, October 23. Mike and his family serve in SE Asia and we are excited to get the chance to hear him speak. In addition to hearing him during the sermon time that morning, Mike will also be doing a Q&A session in the evening at 5pm in room B100. This will be a great time to ask any questions you have on Mike and his family’s journey sharing God’s Word in SE Asia!

STUDENT MINISTRY
