Multi-Generational Worship Choir on Palm Sunday, April 2nd

Join us for this fun and exciting service where kids, students, and their parents are invited to join the Worship Choir on the platform. If you are interested in being a part, please visit hoffmantownchurch.org/multigen to view and listen to the music for the service. There will be only one rehearsal at 8:30am before the 9:30am service that day. See you there!

ADULT FAMILY MINISTRIES

Senior Ambassadors Ministry – Tuesday afternoons

If you are 70 years old or older, please join us each 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 1:30pm for a time of devotion and fellowship. We meet in room B209/221 and end at 3pm. Would love to have you join for this focused time. Please invite a friend or neighbor. If you have any questions, contact Kathy Tesch at afm@hoffmantown.org or 858-8696. Our next meeting is March 28.

Oil Change Ministry

Adult Family Ministries is offering an Oil Change Ministry at Dearholt AutoCare, 6401 Signal NE, 87113 on Saturday, April 22, from 9am-1pm. This FREE ministry is available to single parents, widows, widowers, and spouses of deployed military personnel. It will be a blessing for our volunteers to serve you! You can enjoy coffee, a burrito or donut, and fellowship while you wait. Please pre-register to assure we have the correct oil and filters available. Space is limited; please reserve your oil-change-time in advance. (by Wednesday, April 19) To register, go online to hoffmantownchurch.org/events.

Volunteers Needed for the Oil Change Ministry

We need people who have a heart to serve others by changing oil, cleaning windshields, checking lights, and driving cars into and out of the bays. There’s plenty to do–let’s work together to provide this free service to people in our church body and community. Volunteers Needed for Women’s Council Outreach

The Women’s Council is looking for volunteers to serve as hostesses during the Men’s Ministry’s Oil Change Ministry on April 22, any time between 9am to 1pm. Time slots are flexible according to your availability. Volunteers will fellowship with those who are waiting to have their oil changed. Contact afm@hoffmantown.org or 858-8635.

KIDS MINISTRY

Family DedicationAre you interested in dedicating your children and your family to the Lord? We have dedication services coming up on May 14 (Mother’s Day) and June 18 (Father’s Day). Please email kids@hoffmantown.org if you are interested.

VBS 2023: June 5th-9thVBS is coming soon and we are looking for leaders and volunteers of all ages and areas. We need your help! Come help us tell kids about how to use the Armor of God and defend and know truth. Love missions? We need you! Love sports? We need you! Love kids? We need you! Please sign up in the Fellowship Mall or email kids@hoffmantown.org.

VBS Donations Needed!We need your help with donations for VBS! Drop off your items in the decorated trash cans in the Fellowship Mall.

• Wax paper

• White glue sticks

• Bottle caps

• 1” and 2” pom-poms

• Regular popsicle sticks

• JUMBO popsicle sticks

• Craft foam sheets, colored

• ½” craft glue dots

• Red felt sheets

• Women’s crew socks, solid colors, no logos, no heel/toe color variations

• Scotch tape

• Green painter’s tape

• Empty boxes, 12 inch or less per side (e.g., shoe box, Amazon box, cereal box)

 

Kids Camp: June 12th-16thKids Camp will be at Inlow Baptist Camp from June 12th-16th and will be for kids who have completed 2nd-6th grade. The cost will be $220 for early registration and $240 for late registration. Early registration has begun! Please email kids@hoffmantown.org for more information.

Kids Worship ServicesOur kids’ worship service (The Rock) meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, except April. April Rock services will be the 3rd and 5th Sundays. Children hear the Word of God on their level through teaching, worship, crafts, and games. They also learn how to apply the Word of God in their daily lives and what following Jesus looks like as a child.

Science Fair Judges

Our Shine Partnership school, Arroyo del Oso, has approached our team and asked for a couple volunteers who would be interested in helping judge their Science Fair on April 5.
