Stewardship Discovery Group Update

A Stewardship Discovery Group was formed to make recommendations to the church members on how the land sale proceeds will be allocated. We continue to pray and seek God’s direction. We have been working closely with the Church leadership and the Finance Committee. Our goal is to make a report and provide recommendations to the church at the Annual Meeting, September 25, 2022. We solicit your continued prayers in this process. The members of the group are Gerald Farley, Dave Jarvis, Fran Stribling, D’Ann Craft, Robert Ewing, Steve Gnerich, David Hopkins, Doug Lawson, Sam Mouck, and Patricia Rogers. We would like your questions or recommendations. You can contact the team at

Giving Policy

We appreciate your faithful giving to advance God’s Kingdom. You may give in person, online or by US Mail. You may designate how your gift is to be used in four different categories: tithes and offerings (general operating budget), benevolence, special missions and/or property improvements. If you desire to give to other charitable organizations (for example: CareNet, Samaritans Purse, etc.) you must give to them directly and not through Hoffmantown Church. This same policy applies to missionaries. You may give to their supporting organizations or to the missionary directly, but not through the church. Hoffmantown Church supports many organizations and individuals through both the budget and special missions. This support is directed by our Missions Council. If you have questions about this policy or who we support, you may contact either the Finance Committee or the Missions Council.

Good news!

Our Hoffmantown staff family has a new addition! Spencer Whitlock has joined our Maintenance/Setup/Custodial staff. Welcome, Spencer!

Shine Partnership

Shine Partnership is a ministry that equips churches to build relationships with local schools and their surrounding communities. Some examples of this include: tutoring, teacher appreciation, after school programs, and more. Earlier this year the Mission Council was approached to join Shine and start a partnership with a school in our area. After vetting this ministry, the Council has felt a call to join in this ministry. We have a great opportunity to show the love of Christ in public schools where the light of God is dwindling. The Council needs servants to join a core team to run and lead this program with Shine. Please email or call 858-8660 to volunteer or receive more info. We look forward to loving the kids of Albuquerque.
