ALL CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
June Month-End Update from the Finance Committee
So far this year, giving has exceeded expenses (receipts= $1,768,430, expenses = $1,592,625). Your faithfulness is encouraging. A Hoffmantown Church preschooler is being taught to tithe on her allowance by her grandparents. She was so excited about bringing her first tithe to the church but didn’t have a purse to put it in. She decided to put it in her shoe so she would not forget. “Bring all your tithes into the storehouse…” [even if you have to put it in your shoe] Mal 3:10
If you have any questions about the church finances contact any member of the Finance Committee (Ken Abbott, Doug Lawson, Fran Stribling, Regan Stinnett, JoAnn Polk, Robert Ewing or Jerri Rose).
In Loving Memory
Please continue to be in prayer for the family of Frances Castillo.

MOCHA
MOCHA (Mommas of Children, Hearts Adorned) is a place where ALL moms are welcome! It is our privilege to provide mothers of children community, connection, and encouragement. Come and take a much-needed break from everyday life to enjoy fellowship, studying the Bible, listening to speakers, and making crafts. We want moms to have opportunities to develop relationships with other women who are in a similar season of life through Christ-centered community. If you have any questions, contact afm@hoffmantown.org or 858-8633.
Being Thoroughly Equipped
Equipping Classes are provided to study the Word with a specific topic in mind to further equip and cultivate a believer’s walk with Christ. Equipping Classes are groups that have a specific time period and seek to foster environments that cultivate discipleship, worship, and Biblical life skills for service. With a Biblical foundation in place, this series of classes is designed to further equip believers within a focused area of service.
Check out our two new upcoming classes!

The Church Council met with some of the leadership of the Missions Council at the August Council meeting. So far this year much has been done through the special missions offering. Mission trips to Ecuador, Paraguay, Brazil, and Uganda have been contributed to; church projects have been contributed to, here in our state; and missionaries, both locally and abroad have been helped. If you would like to know all the entities and persons who receive help through our Missions giving, please check out the website at www.hoffmantownchurch.org/missions/. We are thankful for the priority of giving to missions in our church, through regular giving and giving to special missions.
In addition, Pastor Gregory Elder reported to the Council that 13 people, including some families with children, were involved in Next Steps on July 28. To God be the glory!
