Appreciation Reception for Stacy TeelThis Sunday, August 13 at 4pm in the Fellowship Mall, join Kids Ministry at+2 the reception to express our appreciation to Stacy Teel for her service as Kids Ministry Bridge Director this past year. In lieu of gifts, please bring a Thank You or an Appreciation card. Cards can be dropped off at the Reception Desk or brought to the reception.

Collingsworth Family Concert

We’ll be hosting an evening of Family Worship and Praise with The Collingsworth Family on August 17th! This family is one of the best gospel groups around, so you won’t want to miss this night! Tickets are available at hoffmantownchurch.org/events.

Who Doesn’t Like Christmas Music?

If you do and you’re interested in singing or playing an instrument with us for Christmas at Hoffmantown, the Worship Choir and Orchestra will be hosting our Open House/Christmas Preview Party on Friday, August 25th in room B208-210. We’ll start with a delicious catered dinner and fellowship at 5:30pm followed by a preview of this year’s presentation, “The Miracle of Christmas.” If you’d like to attend the dinner, please RSVP to music@hoffmantown.org so we can reserve a meal for you. Or you can just show up to the Christmas preview portion of the evening starting around 6:15pm. Either way, we’d love to have you!

Hoffmantown Round Up/Picnic 2023

Join us for this year’s Round Up on September 10.

This Year’s Picnic (5-7pm, in The Grove, east of Hoffmantown) is featuring:

•              Fried chicken

•              Kona Ice Truck

•              Western Photo Booth… get a picture of your family in the Wild West!

•              Live instrumental music

•              Minute to Win It Games with Dane

•              Our third annual car show

It would great for those who have vintage / show cars to bring them for the Fall Round-Up Picnic. These cars were a real treat for all to see last year, so come join in the fun this year and bring your nice ride. If interested, please let us know at equip@hoffmantown.org so that we can plan accordingly. Bring your vintage cars to the east gate of Hoffmantown’s parking lot and follow the signs!

What to bring:

•              Blanket and lawn chairs if you would like (we will have tables set up)

•              Games to play

•              A potluck dish to share!

STUDENT MINISTRY

Mid-Week Worship Service

Join us Wednesdays, from 6:30-8pm, for our Student Ministry Mid-Week Worship Service in Building E! This is an awesome time of student-led worship, preaching, and hanging out. Can’t wait to see our Hoffmantown Students there and don’t be afraid to bring a friend! And remember, Student Sunday School happens every Sunday in Building E at 11am!

 

KIDS MINISTRY

Hey Kids,

We had a BLAST in the Rock (Kids Church) last Sunday. We want you to join us next week, August 20th at 9:30am, for a morning full of worship, engaging teaching, activities, games and more! All kids Kinder through 4th grade are encouraged to join the fun! You will NOT want to miss this! Questions about the Rock? Email kids@hoffmantown.org

KIDS EXPRESS

Hey Parents or Grandparents,

Are you looking for a safe, loving, Christian preschool for your kiddos? Then Kids Express is the school for you! God loves all of His children, and we are committed to providing them with a strong faith foundation as well as a strong educational foundation. We have openings in our older 2s through Pre-K 5s. MISSIONS

BCNM State Fair Booth

BCNM will have their Diaper Changing/Nursing Booth at the State Fair again this year! They are currently looking for volunteers, and will have a mandatory training session Tuesday, August 22nd, from 6pm-8pm at the Baptist Convention of New Mexico building. Dinner will be provided. Registration and more information can be found at bcnm.com/state-fair/.

Bling Show

Save the date for the 11th Annual Bling Show, October 6, 4-8pm and October 7, 9am-1pm. The show will be held at Netherwood Park Church of Christ. Donations are still being accepted at the box by the reception desk until September 1.
