A+ for our Church Fall Meeting

From Pastor Lamar – We had a great meeting. I love hearing various reports from the various groups and ministries in our church. I am so encouraged by them and love being the Lead Pastor of Hoffmantown! All items on our ballot passed overwhelmingly with flying colors. Thanks to all who were able to attend!

Pastor Appreciation Month

“Thank you” can go a long way…October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Our Pastors, Elders and Directors are not after man’s approval but work for God’s approval as bondservants of Christ, shepherding as ones who will give an account to God. Each year we set aside the month of October to honor our amazing Hoffmantown Church leaders. For the next month, let’s come together and show them the depth of our gratitude for all that they do for us!

Here are some ways that you can participate as you prayerfully consider how you can be a conduit of grace, hope and love to build up our leaders and their families this month.Prayer – “Brethren, pray for us.” 1 Thessalonians 5:25 Pause for a few moments every day to pray for each of our Hoffmantown Church leaders and their families. A list of our Pastors, Directors and Elders can be found here: hoffmantownchurch.org/staff/

Gratitude and Encouragement – We have been impacted by each of these incredible Hoffmantown Church leaders in life-changing ways and we cannot thank them enough for the way they faithfully serve us. 1 Thessalonians 5:13 says, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” Let’s practice this together. If you have an encouraging word for any of our leaders and their families, use this month to write them a note and tell them how they have impacted your life. Simply drop a card or note in an offering box or in the mail.
