Pastor Appreciation Month
For the rest of October, let’s shower our Pastors, Elders and Directors with intercession and appreciation for the way they tirelessly labor to foster our own spiritual growth week after week. As you consider the ways you have been ministered to over this past year, please take time to pray for and encourage them as the Lord leads you.
Please pray that they will do all God calls them to do in His strength, not in their own strength or human wisdom. And as the body of Hoffmantown, we would take to heart and put into practice what God reveals to us as they teach us from the Word and by their example, doing all to the glory of God. Lift up their families, praying that their relationships will be rich, sweet and mutually edifying in Christ.
If you have an encouraging word for any of our leaders and their families, use this month to write them a note and tell them how they have impacted your life. Hoffmantown Church Full-Time Position Available
Hoffmantown Church has a full-time position available. Applicant should be an active member of Hoffmantown Church, sense a calling to Christian service and be able to work in various contexts.
Kids Ministry Administrative Assistant
Are you passionate about making a lifelong impact on children’s lives? Do you have strong organizational skills and a heart for serving others? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Kids Ministry Administrative Assistant! This position is a direct report and support of the Kids Director and works hard alongside the Kids Ministry team to make each event, meeting, and task successful. If you’re ready to be a difference-maker, fill out an application form, and submit a resume to Caitlin Craft at CaitlinC@hoffmantown.org.

Men’s Gathering
Join us for breakfast and fellowship time Saturday, October 21, at 7:30am. Teaching time will begin at 8am. The cost is $8 to help cover the cost of breakfast. Operation Neighborhood Survey Part 2
We’re looking for volunteers for Operation Neighborhood Survey Part 2. We would like to meet our neighbors and give them materials about upcoming events, including Fall Fest, Christmas at Hoffmantown, and our Christmas Eve services. We will meet at 9:30am, for breakfast and brief training, and then go out. We should be finished no later than 11:30am. Please come and be a part of this wonderful opportunity to meet and invite our neighbors into Hoffmantown Church.

Oil Change Ministry – Saturday October 14
This is the last week to register for the Oil Change Ministry! If you are a single parent, widow, widower, or a spouse of deployed military personnel, this FREE ministry is available to you! Please pre-register to ensure we have the correct oil and filters available (by Wednesday, October 11). To register, go online to hoffmantownchurch.org/events/.

Kids Christmas Choir – It’s not too late to join!

AWANA
Have you heard the news? AWANA is growing and we are seeing new kids each week. AWANA offers the opportunity for children to hide God’s Word in their hearts and to hear the news of the Gospel. KIDZ BLITZ on October 20 from 6:30-8:30pm
Kidz Blitz Live is a crowd participation event that gets the whole family involved! Kids and adults will play games against each other throughout the event all while learning Biblical principles. Clothing & Toy SWAP November 4
Kids growing like weeds? GREAT! We need your clean and gently used clothing and toys for the Clothing and Toy SWAP on November 4! This event will be FREE and open to the community. Whether you have clothes to donate or simply need to shop, please plan to attend and find some new treasures. The Clothing SWAP will be in the Fellowship Mall from 9-11am on Saturday, November 4. Kids Bible Story Hour: 1st and 3rd Fridays from 10:30-11:30am
Caitlin Craft and friends will be reading Christian books at the Cherry Hills Library on the first and third Fridays in October and November with the last story book hour for the semester on December 1. This Story Book Hour will be most beneficial for kids ages Preschool through 2nd grade.
