CBA and BCNM 2025 Annual Meetings
The Central Baptist Association will hold their annual meeting on Thursday, October 2 at 6:30pm at Cornerstone Community Church, 4100 Southern Blvd SE Bldg. 1-A Rio Rancho, NM. This year’s annual meeting theme will be “Prayerfully Devoted” Colossians 4:2-6. Guest speaker is Jesse Parker, Celebration Baptist Church. Registration opens at 4:30pm and dinner will be served at 5:30pm. A great night of worship, fellowship and an excellent message is being planned.
The Baptist Convention of New Mexico State Convention will be held on October 21-22 at First Baptist, Las Cruces, NM. The theme for the meeting will be “One Faith, One Mission.” Guest speakers will include Dr. Adam Groza, president of Gateway Seminary. Michael Kirby, pastor of Central Baptist Church of Clovis, will bring the annual sermon; President Stephen Baum, pastor of First Baptist Church of West Albuquerque, will bring the president’s address; and Steve Ballew will present his executive director’s report.

July Month-End Update from the Finance Committee
So far this year, our expenses have exceeded revenue for the year (receipts= $1,859,014, expenses = $1,967,178). Your continued faithfulness is encouraging.
The VBS kids recently raised and gave $5,900 to the Baptist Children’s Home. Great job kids!

Calling All Drummers!
Hoffmantown’s Music & Worship Ministry is currently looking for a skilled and committed drummer to join our team. We’re looking for someone who has a heart for worshiping the Lord and experience playing drums. The position requires regular availability for weekly rehearsals, Sunday service, and occasional special events. Knowledge of Ableton software is a plus but not required. Table Talk September 8
Join us for an informal gathering of women to discuss topics of interest from a Biblical perspective on Monday, September 8, from 9:30-11am OR from 6:30-8pm in room B209/221. This month’s topic will be “Being a Friend Through Life’s Ups and Downs.” Bring your Bible and favorite mug for your coffee or tea. Registration is not required, unless you need childcare. Men’s Breakfast Gathering
Calling all men to join us for breakfast, fellowship, and time in God’s Word on Saturday, September 20, from 7:30-9:15am in room B208/210. The cost is $8 per person. Hoffmantown Romania Team
We ask for continued prayer for the Hoffmantown Church Romania 2025 mission team: Chris and Judah Atencio, Joe and Kim Crews, JoAnn Polk, Glen and Solomon Butler. This is a short-term mission trip to Lugoj Romania: October 10-17 to serve with our missions partners Grace Christian School and Bread of Life Church. Please pray for the team and that God will prepare the mission field and direct our path. Financial gifts to help cover the Team’s trip expenses can be made by giving to Special Missions, Romania Team online.
